Diagnostics
Experts in our field
Pathognomics is a UKAS-accredited medical diagnostic laboratory (UKAS No. 9923, schedule) and offers a complete histopathology and clinical diagnostics service for the dissection, processing and reporting of wet surgical specimens and pre-prepared blocks or slides. Pathognomics also offers a complete Coroners processing service including tissue retention management.
Digital Pathology
Safe and secure
Pathognomics strictly follows NHS Digital Information Governance and cyber security guidelines to ensure the security of the data that we handle. Our clients have 24 hour online access to a secure system and are alerted via email when reports are ready to view and download in PDF form.

Supporting the advancement of care
Pathognomics offers a range of services to support and advise on research projects. All laboratory staff are trained and experienced in working with both human and non-human tissues as well as non-biological samples.

Dedicated to help
Pathognomics is proud to be HTA accredited for Coroners’ work and we have a dedicated management system for retention of tissue. Pathognomics provides a tailored workflow to our customers’ needs and we deliver tracked tissue retention directly integrated in our systems.
